Taste Is Now Our Scarcest Asset explores how, in an age of limitless machine-generated content, the defining human value is no longer production but discernment. Taste becomes a form of intelligence the ability to curate, refine, and give coherence to what we create. For this project, I created the accompanying visuals, using the metaphor of finding a diamond in the dirt to express the process of filtering meaning from excess. The visual progression reflects clarity emerging from chaos — textures, light, and form evolving toward precision — mirroring the article’s central theme that true intelligence lies in perception, selection, and the pursuit of distinction amidst abundance. I helped direct and inform decisions around social posts, audience, and engagement strategy, curating and sequencing work into a cohesive narrative that supported the underlying topic. Each piece was chosen to align, conceptually and visually, with the essay's exploration of taste, intelligence, and creative refinement.
